iMETOS ECO D3
Who knows the risks concealed in your soil, water and crops? Metos knows.
iMETOS ECO D3
iMETOS ECO D3 is a reliable solution for all crops, providing sophisticated field monitoring and forecasting.
A RELIABLE AND COST-EFFECTIVE SOLUTION FOR BASIC SOIL MOISTURE MONITORING, IRRIGATION MANAGEMENT AND HYDROLOGY (RAINFALL, WATER LEVEL ETC.).
The wireless iMETOS ECO D3 is a solar panel and battery-powered data logger, designed to work in harsh conditions and in all climate zones.
The system has a fully integrated UMTS/CDMA modem for direct communication with the FieldClimate platform and can handle up to 400 sensors through its intelligent sensor bus system.
The iMETOS ECO D3 can be customized with a variety of Soil Moisture Sensors, such as Watermark, Sentek (Drill & Drop) and more. It can also be used for continuous water level monitoring on rivers and wells to warn about flood risks. Applications can be added to monitor drainage of fertigation in soil-less crops together with EC/PH and soil moisture monitoring.
Data is regularly uploaded to FieldClimate platform where you can access it from any place at any time in real-time, and the device can be cofigured to send you SMS Alarms (user-defined via Internet) for cases when quick actions are needed.
Along with accessing historical data, you can take advantage of decision support solutions like localized Weather Forecast and Irrigation Management.
Need more sensors for a wider range of information? You can add a rain gauge, leaf wetness sensor, air temperature and relative humidity sensor, soil moisture sensors, EC/PH, or others from the many that are supported.
This reliable and cost-effective device is perfect for monitoring crops, disease risk, and pinpointing spray windows. It’s highly customizable making this perfect for farmers looking for:
- basic soil moisture monitoring, irrigation management and hydrology
- the ability to look at disease modeling for your crops
- real-time information uploaded to the FieldClimate platform and accessed from your device or computer
- SMS warnings for scenarios when quick actions are needed
- customizable for a broad range of uses (up to 400 sensor variations)
- efficient power consumption provided by a battery and solar combination
- a device that can stand up to the harsh Canadian climate

Measurement, logging and transmission intervals can be customized to fit the client’s needs.
Measurement interval: occurrence, when the station measures the attached sensors Logging interval: occurrence, when the station calculates the minimum, maximum and average values of all measurements which happened in this logging interval
Transmission interval: occurrence, when the station transmits the stored data from the logging interval to the FieldClimate.
